Well today dr. g and I woke up bright and early at 6 am to drive all the way back to FLA from VAit was a long and straight shot down 95 to Floridadr.g and I talked about how hot the image is and how we already missed him but all is good cuz our summers are packed full of fun.
Dr. G is getting married, the image is working at a movie theater and I am being a camp counselor (www.umsummercamp.org)
The tour might be over but the fun has just startedwe have already stared to book shows across Florida in August so be prepared to see folk hop take over the one and only sunshine state this fallbecause we are

Barn Yard Rock
So today we woke up late about 11 or so ate some lunch with the images folks then decided to go by the venue to find out load in time and stuff like thatWe went to the venue and Dr. G and the image started talking to the owner while I just wondered around outsidethey were taking for a while so I knew something was upabout 15 minutes later the image and dr. g came back out and were like we dont have a show here tonight (there were some complications blab la bla/whatever).THE SHOW MUST GO ON we all thought, so we high tailed it to the high school to talk to the other band to figure out what we were going to do
Luckily we were in the mighty land of the images home town and he has connections, the next thing I know we are at a dairy farm hooking up a sound system for the show I will call the barn yard bashYes thats right the one and only dj why and the image played the last show of the tour in none other then a barn at a diary farm in VAit was amazingkids showed up to the show and we had a blast playing in a barn
we will have pics for all of your eyes soonthe image has all the pictures now and am holding his royal tenenbaums soundtrack hostage till he puts them on the web so they should be up any day now

Tour Entry 1.7

DC is big. Today we were off so we spent the day in capital city. It was a fun day seeing all the great sites of DC with our good friend Megan from Flagler. We saw: the capital building, Washington Monument, Whitehouse and all the stuff around that. Went to China town and just had a great time riding the Metro across the great District of Columbia. In China town the image got some dried squid from some shop and Megan and I got some chocolate stuff that tasted really good. Well tomorrow we play our last show for the tour then Dr. G and I make the long ride home. We have had a great time and there are still 2 days left!!!

The Images home is lovely. Good food, family, friends, bathrooms, and BEDs actual beds no more floors for us on this tour!!! So today we amused ourselves in the Images home town. We saw his place of work, favorite music store and his home church where we play a most very first-class show.
The show was great. It was the first time the Images friends and family ever saw us and it looked like they enjoyed themselves. We had a great time on stage playing the classics from the Dj Why and The Image music catalog. Tomorrow we are off and are going to visit/take over the great capital of the United States of America: Washington DC. I personally cant wait soon and very soon folk-hop will take over the world. Tomorrow the US capital, so who knows what the future holds.

The Image sure does like to drive. He drove the whole way from GA on. We were on the road today for a long time and did not do much. Woke up at 11am and ate lunch with Lee in SC then hit the road. We only stopped tree twice, once at South of the Border and the other at a place to get some Chicken. South of the Border was in one word tourist-fun-trap but a good place to stretch the old legs.
We are at the Images house now and just taking it easy we have 2 more shows left and they are going to be unstoppable.

Tour Entry 1.4

Welcome to South Carolina. After 10 hours of car ride, 2 bathroom stops, 3 states, over 800 miles we arrived to Mount Pleasant South Carolina just outside of Charleston. We have a great host our good friend Lee from Flagler. Some of the sites we saw: Diehard with Vengeance Bridge, The Patriot movie spot, Fort Sumter, Historic Charleston. It was a great time. In other news while we were cleaning out the tour-burban a can of Coke exploded in my hand and nearly took my hand off.
The show was at the Village Tavern in Mount Pleasant. It was a great venue. We played with Lookout Records group the orange band and SC own the vents both were great guys and a lot of fun to play with. We are off today and have a show tomorrow in the images home town of Gainesville VA.

We woke up at 9am today to drive to the nice city of Niceville Florida. We arrived early the show so we did a little exploring. Some of the events we discovered were: Subway (lunch), The West Coast, and the US Armament Museum (we will have pics up as soon as we get back)We got back to Niceville UMC and met Jeff (Flagler Kid) and hooked up our gear. The show was great. The kids in the Youth Group really enjoyed it. The people in Niceville are truly nice. O the memories: Kate and Ashley, Good home cooking, sleeping bags, wakening up at 6am, niceness, drivingO the funtill next time

Boy I love Georgia. You want to know why? I was born there and we played the most amzingest show ever at the rock n roll fest with our good friend Soul Patches. We had a great time in Valdosta. The kids were amazing and had almost as much fun as we did on stage. We slept at my Lake House just outside of Tallahassee and hung out with my good friend I will call AW. We watch a movie then I tried to take a shower but I forgot to do one thing.Turn on the water heaterso we had no hot water for the night. I had to sleep dirty style (ISP) and turn on the water heater for the next morning

Home Sweet Home
Well were on tour now and having a great time. Last night we played an amazing show for some of my familys friends in Jacksonville. The crowds age rage was 1 and a half (Hunter Bice) to about 59 years old!!! It was a great show. Sonnies Bar-B-Q, Good time and good friends made for a fantastic evening. We played in my garage at my house and that was a site to see. (We will have pictures of the shows up after the tour) Today we are taking it easy then we are off to Valdosta GA bright and early for a 1 oclock show.

What a packed full weekend. We played two shows. First was a great house party in Gainesville at our friends the know how residents. This show was fun for all and a great time.
Last night was amazing we played at MHT in JAX with our good friends Isaac and new friend Soul Patches. It was great to see all the crew from Isaac and reminisce about the good old days.The show was great our Merch Girls did a great job giving out free hugs with every purchase. MHT did a great job with the sound and lights. We had a whole lot of fun with my NES on the big screen behind us. We have some pics up at yahoo with more on the way so check them out.

Monday, January 27th
Greetings to all our sepoys and lookers-on. We here at DJ Why and the Image Camp feat. Dr. G are very pleased to announce that we have signed with Rick Derris Records, a label currently operating out of St. Augustine. This will mean crazy, crazy things for DJ Why and the Image, things so crazy that you might sell your dog in excitement. Keep checking for more info.
Also, mark your calendars for February the 8th, when we storm Murray Hill Theatre with two new songs and a cover. This will also be our first ever Button Release Party! Yeah! Hope to see you all there, carpooling will be available.

Thank you to everyone who made it to the show on Friday at Backstreets! It was a rockin' good time, even though a lot of you saw more of DJ Why and the Image's legs then you wanted. Well, the semester has started and we have all hit the books to become smart, cuz thats what college is for and all. We have a new CD for sale now! We have released the recordings in the dorm room that we did on a tape deck. There are many tracks and we think it is a must have for any diehard sepoy, and for only 1.50 we are basically giving them away (To Clasp You is on it, Spoon). Well, hope you all have a great day. Greetings from sunny Jacksonville Florida, I just got back from Snowshoe West Va, Where I learned how to snowboard for 3 great days with my old man (my dad, dr.wayne). It was a great male bonding time but enough with me. The Image is flying in tomorrow from D.C. and we will start cram practicing for the show that all you reading this will be at THIS Friday at Backstreets. I cant wait.

The old year 2002 is almost over and I thought I would say hi one last time in 2002. It was a great year for us*, we played at Murray Hill Theatre and at Common Ground (300+people) not to mention with cool bands like "the know how" and "loyal frisby". The year may be coming to an end but don't despair because guess whats happening in 2003: new songs, more shows, and a better live show (no more forgetting words and such we are committed to you who ever you are reading this page). Now some exciting news we have a MP3 station up now...None of our songs are up now but we well soon right now you can hear most of the bands we have played with in the past and bands that we* like.

Buenos tardes, mis amigos de Sepoyismo! The Image here, just dropping a friendly little note to update the status of the Three Vigilantes. I got back from Bolivia yesterday, I had a lot of fun. But I was ready to come home. DJ Why finished Camp last week, totally rockin' the Methodist kids of Florida. And Dr. G is about to debark to St. Auggie with his new oh-so-blingin' car he purchased and fixed in El Paso. We already have the show a Backstreet's and we're working on a couple more. This year will have some amazingly spectacular things in store, like shows and remixes, the tour with P Diddy, and a possible new CD! Yowzaa! But please, we are here for you, so keep writing and interacting, tell us what you want to see happen this year. As they say in Germany, "ich bin nein Schtokenbloken". See ya round, and watch out for the Man. Solid!

Oh my Lord, can you believe it! Dr. G here givin you the jiggy and all the shiz. Okay, we have recently signed a deal with...hahaha, just kidding. The real truth is that DJ Why and The Image will be playing at Backstreet's on Friday the 13th of September...i hope that things don't get too corny; it being Friday the 13th and all. I'm not very superstitious but i do know that we're in for a rocking folk hopping night. I can't even believe that someone would think of not being there, because: com'mon, i'll be there, and i love you, so try and make it out. Shermy D, the lyrical master, will be opening for us in our hometown and it's sure to be a packed show. I hope you don't mind that i have a lot of new stuff planned. Oh, i don't think you'll mind. Well HI to all you Sepoys. This is dj why. Last night I went and saw a great band: third day in Lakeland then on friday in Jax. They were both great shows. Big lights, sound and everything and a tone of people at both shows and it rocked. Other then that I really have not done anything but re-organize my room at home.
Dr. G and The Image are hard at work up north somewhere and Im here in JAX keeping it fresh. I will be going to work at summer camp on the 19th. If anyone wants to buy our stuff we have the mail order up now so you can

They're finally here! Thanks to our friend Mike from Atlas Design, we have killer t-shirts and patches for sale. The t-shirts are $7 and the patches are $1. When you see us, just ask for whatever you want. Of course, we still have CD's available for $5.
Tomorrow we travel to Umatilla to play a rockin' outreach show. Anyone who is interested in going, just call us. We have a huge train of friends coming, it'll be a blast. This will be the last D.I.D show of the year, so make it worthwhile. Peace out!

4/06/02- Well, hello from the Image. Just to give an update, we have finally finished recording! Yesterday we got up at the crack of dawn and went over to "Up the Street on the Avenue" Studios where we recorded from 10:00 straight until 8:45. We are all extremely impressed with the results, hilarity is bound to ensue. I would justlike to say thanks so much to Josh and Heather (and little Hunter) for all their time and patience with we three vigilantes...*sniffle*... So if you want a copy of the Seafood for Sepoys EP, just contact us and we''ll get one to you ASAP. They are just five dollars each. Achtung, Baby!!!!

Last Saturday I had the wonderful chance to perform solo at a church coffehouse in Gainesville, Virginia. I was driving home to pick up my gear thinking, Man, this is my chance to show these people that I can play with the best of them. I went through all the serious songs I knew and figured a half decent set list full of tear-jerkers and romances. Then I actualy got on stage. I looked around, listened to what other people were going to play and thought, screw it! I quickly threw together a new set list, found a certain beat CD and exposed Northern Virginia to that which is DJ Why and the Image, sans Dr. G and DJ Why. I played To Clasp You, followed by Jump Around. Then I launched into Gomek Forever, and topped it all off with I Pity The Fool.
I would just like to say that I give mad props to DJ Why and Dr. G-to-tha-izzo, because without them, I feel all funny, like taking a shower in gym class freshman year of high school. But it was fun singing To Clasp You and doing both Why's rap on I Pity The Fool and his other half of Gomek. They also recorded it for me, so I will release the EP when I get home. Love you all, patiently awaiting the glorious return to St. Aug.

p.s.- My hetero life partner Eric and I have been plotting the amazing cover war scheduled for next year with Rick Derris. Also, watch for a show with R.D. and the best improv band you've never heard, SLUG RELAY! A 45 minute rock opera about the Smurfs? How cool is that?
